The Glendale Arts and Culture Commission will issue a call for artists starting August 5, for artists to apply to paint murals on 30 City of Glendale utility boxes and other public infrastructure this Fall. The program goal is to bring beauty to unexpected places such as public infrastructure and utility boxes. Selected artists will each receive a $750 stipend to paint a utility box, and more to paint other public infrastructure. Interested artists must submit their applications by September 2, and paint the weekend of September 25-27, 2020. Visit our website for more information.
